About Us

Welcome to Dursley Dog Park, a fully enclosed, beautiful 2.88 acre field available for exclusive hire for you and your beloved dogs.

Dursley Dog Park is perfect if you have a reactive or nervous dog, one that needs work on recall, a female in heat (let’s keep those pesky males away!), or just want to meet up with friends and enjoy some off lead freedom and a much needed catch up.

If you would like to bring more than 6 dogs, please contact us to discuss prior to booking online.

How it works:

  1. Book your session online here
  2. Arrive at your session time, unlock the padlock (the code will have been emailed and texted to you beforehand), drive in and lock the gate behind you.
  3. Let your dog out the car and enjoy the field until your time slot ends.
  4. Please dispose of any mess in the bins provided, pop your dog in your car and lock the gate behind you when you leave.
  5. IMPORTANT: Even if someone is waiting outside please still lock the gate after you.
  6. When you get home book for your next visit!

How do I book?

Sessions must be booked in advance. Bookings and payments are all online, please click here.

How long is a session?

Each session starts on the hour and lasts 50 minutes, leaving a 10-minute gap between each customer to avoid any cross-over. It is important that all users keep to their allotted time – please do not arrive early or stay beyond your finish time.

How high is the fence?

The fence is 6 feet tall and is also dug an additional 1 foot underground. If your dog is able to jump higher than this, then this may not be the field for you.
IMPORTANT: We accept no responsibility if your dog escapes.

How much does it cost?

£10.50 for 1-2 dogs

Can I park onsite?

Yes, we have a limit of 3 cars allowed per session.

Are XL Bully’s or banned breeds allowed to use the field?

Yes! They must wear a muzzle and be on lead until they are within the field. Prior to booking, please send us your exemption certificates and proof of insurance.

What are your opening hours?

Daylight hours throughout the year, we do not have flood lights.

What do I do if I have a problem?

For on-site emergencies, please call the emergency number advertised in the field.
Any non-urgent matters should be directed to hello@dursleydogpark.co.uk.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes, you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session time by logging into Acuity.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel your booking up to 24 hours in advance of your session time to receive a full refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

How do I dispose of my dog’s waste?

We have dog poo bins around the field, along with extra bags. We also have a general waste bin located in the field shelter.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

Yes, we do ask that all dogs are up to date with vaccinations (or titre tested), as well as flea and wormer.

Can professional dog walkers use the field?

Yes, please send us a copy of your insurance before your first visit.

Is water available?

Yes, we have a hose in the car park area and a water tray within the field.

What happens if the previous customer doesn’t leave on time?

IMPORTANT: Keep your dog in your car / on their lead and contact us via the emergency number advertised on-site. Please do not allow your dog off the lead until the other customer has left the premises.

Are there livestock/other animals nearby?

There are horses and cattle in a neighbouring field. There are also dog businesses situated on the farm, and public footpaths running past the bottom of the field. To reduce the chance of seeing other dogs, we recommend booking early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.

My dog is poorly, can I still come to the field?

No, you will need to reschedule your booking until your dog has not been ill for 48 hours, especially if they are experiencing vomiting, diarrhoea, or kennel cough. Please do not return until the symptoms have stopped. If you need to rearrange at short notice, please contact us on 07771 526082.

Can I smoke/vape in the field?

No, we have a strict no smoking and no vaping policy.

Is there a first aid kit?

Yes, we have human and dog first aid kits located in the field shelter – please notify us as soon as possible if you use part of either kit.

Terms & Conditions

You agree that your use of the field is at your own risk, and agree not to hold ‘Dursley Dog Park’, its owners or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family/friends, your vehicles or your dogs arising from your use of the field.

While checked and maintained regularly, the field is a large outdoor space, and contains areas of uneven/ stony/ muddy/ wet ground which could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation, has overhanging branches from trees or hedges around the edges which may fall or have fallen and could contain other hazards consistent with the countryside.

Due to its nature as an open field we cannot be held responsible for the activity or any noise from neighbouring fields and areas as these are out of our control, this can occasionally include noise from shooting on neighbouring farmland, as an example.

We ask that you respect the neighbouring businesses, land and houses and try to keep noise to a minimum when using the park. Please try and avoid excessive barking and constant use of loud training tools.
